Our Vision

Our Goal In Ministry...
is to communicate to believers God’s longing to be intimate with each of his children. His original desire to fellowship with Adam has never changed. He just wants to spend time with each of us and get to know us. God is a Father who just happens to be God. The Old Testament calls Him Father six times. In the New Testament He is called Father some 300 times. He’s trying to tell us something. God wants a family.

A man-centered Gospel…
is suffocating believers today. Much of our preaching, much of our teaching, and far too much of our music is focused on us instead of God. Psychiatrists tell us we spend 95% of our time thinking about ourselves. “It’s not me anymore,” Paul said in Galatians 2:20, “It’s Christ.” Christ must be the beginning, the center, and the end of everything in our lives, or we will be off-center.

We have no bad news…
for the Church. You can get your daily dose of bad news from the networks and the press. The Gospel is “good news.” You should leave every church service knowing you are loved and there is hope. Faith is not about you and me; it’s about the Lord of Glory. It’s not about our struggle to believe – it’s about God and His ability and faithfulness to keep His Word in our lives. In the words of Corrie Ten Boom: “Don’t struggle, snuggle. Don’t wrestle, nestle.” Most of us need to give God the time He requires to build His character into us. A June apple is green, bitter and juiceless, yet it is a perfect apple (for June). All the fasting and praying in the world won’t change June to October. You may not need a breakthrough; you may need patience. Wisdom you get by asking – patience you get by waiting.

We are asking the Lord…
to put us in the company of people who are desperately seeking to know the Lord intimately and are willing to lay down any tradition that hinders that pursuit.

For the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea. Habakkuk 2:14
